    • You’re welcome, Sylvia. I was grateful for your dove on the pretty flower/foliage photo, a few days ago you posted but just had a chance to comment today. Happy days in “Ye Olde England!” My daughter and I always like the British cast in the Christmas movie, β™‘ “Love Actually.” It is a great annual tradition to watch it, laugh and cry, too. πŸ™‚

  1. Ah, there’s a smile! I always see him looking so contemplative…but now I’m picturing myself next to him tickling his velvety baby cheek and saying “There’s a smile, there’s a smile” in a ridiculously goofy voice. Babies just bring it out in us.

    • They certainly bring out the goofiness, Marissa! You should see the group photo they took yesterday, all in Christmas best and for the first time I have ever seen Hendrix wail!! The boy just was “not having it!” Mommy, Trista, just could not get him to even stop. . . I like your little saying which makes ME smile! πŸ˜€

      • Oh too bad! Guess he’s more of a loner? Ha, ha! I have tons of my babies crying. Sometimes it’s the only way to get a shot. When my son was little he had colic for like 2 weeks (which really isn’t too bad, some have it for months). I was so upset, I felt like he was a broken toy. (Is that terrible?) But then I decided to make the most of it. If my baby was going to cry, I was still going to snap his picture.

      • My oldest daughter cried for months, Marissa so I do understand how you felt. My first child, too. Maybe our nervousness and fears get rubbed off on them. Or they sense we were “rookies?” πŸ™‚ πŸ˜€

    • Thank you, Jill. β™‘ I sure do love his sweet cheeks. The sad thing was Trista was trying to take photos with the kids all dressed up yesterday. . . and Hendrix wailed. No Santa to scare him, they were at home. I almost want yo post it but will not, due to Trista really upset. Maybe he was hot or tired?
It was a rare sight since he is a happy baby! πŸ™‚

    • Thank you, Dan. I really appreciate your tagging Hendrix as “adorable!” πŸ™‚ He was quite the character with my Mom over Thanksgiving. He smiled and “charmed” her. Nice great grandmother photos. Here he was on his Mommy’s knee next to my Mom.

    • Pauline, I suspect he does know! I was the oldest so would not know how this feels to have everyone run if I laughed or cried. I was the one who paid attention to the baby brother. πŸ™‚
