The sky is gorgeous over snowy OWU

The turquoise sky was
Brightly decorated
with billowing pastel
clouds over OWU campus.

Across a fence and stream
separating the children
who attend St. Mary’s
Catholic Church school.

Will you walk with me,
to one if our local
coffee shops?

Then, if you have

Will you sit on the black
rod iron bench,
if I wipe the snow off?

    • The lessons you learned are so funny! Your video and new website is good. I wish you well with this endeavor, Lizzie. πŸ™‚ Sorry about past boyfriend. I have loved and lost, so totally understand Valentine’s day without someone. You are young so lots of possibilities! πŸ™‚

      • Thank you so much! I hope you’ll follow/subscribe and join me on this journey.
To love and to lose is quite human, so the whole experience made me who I am today. I’m in such a good place now that I can look back on the whole thing and have a good laugh – I mean, it was pretty funny!
        Much love xo

  1. I loe the subtle shades in winter skies. Sunrise and sunset are both soft and interesting. Beautiful photo and words. I’d sit on the bench for a few minutes (likely bemoaning the fact that I didn’t have my camera).

    • Colleen, I can see the pink heart, too. I think you would be “up” for anything. A very good trait to have, my friend. I am belatedly writing replies for Wednesday post. That evening we went to Skyler’s string concert and ended up to be 4th grade through senior high so didn’t get home early enough to blog. πŸ™‚

      • I hope the concert was wonderful! When I go to my guitar lesson there is a little girl there taking violin in another studio. I can hear her progress. It’s wonderful to listen to.

      • I hope to visit much of this amazing country in the time I am here. Waterfalls will always be an easy enticement. and I recognised the kindred in you too πŸ™‚

  2. Ah, snow! We haven’t had any this year yet. Just rain and more rain. I’ve just had a dog walk with a friend and we got soaked. Grey skies here today. Wishing for a bit of colour. Thanks Robin!

    • Glad to provide colour plus snow to my British friend on the other side of the “pond!” Too bad your umbrella didn’t work with the rain. Must be coming down “slanted” and it has been sunny two days in a row, also 60 degrees out! πŸ™‚ Sorry, I went to a concert on Wednesday night expecting one hour at most, but turned out every 4 years they have 4th grade through 12th. Quite long but very satisfying since he is only in his second year of playing bass, so he found out how much better it gets while practicing and getting more years, too. The final song was Pirates of the Caribbean. Lovely! πŸ™‚

    • Marissa, this would be fine and you know what? I have plenty of varieties of teas. Sorry this is rather late reply but I am writing to over a dozen people from this post.
Skyler played the bass on Wednesday evening. I didn’t eat dinner and thought an hour later I would be home. Carrie didn’t read the note sent home which said that 4th grade thru 12th grade strings would be playing. I went straight to Thursday’s posts on that next night. πŸ™‚

    • Yes, this is why I chose to have the photograph from over here, Anneli. β™‘ I am so glad you noticed the contrasts of bright and shadows, warmth of colors and coolness in the trees and shade. Instead of heading to a clearing where the clouds and sky would have been easier seen, I headed over here. πŸ™‚

    • I hope since a few days have passed that it is nicer in your “neck of the woods” this weekend! πŸ™‚
It is nice during our days but it will switch soon back to cold and gray here, too. After all, it’s only February! πŸ˜‰
