Clouds on Tuesday (posting Wednesday)

The sky was swirling,
Spinning cotton into gold.

Magic was “a ‘foot” only
If you had foresight to look up.

Special skies which transform
Regular clouds into ethereal vision.

    • Thanks, I was hoping you could see the way it was moving, Jill. It was amazing to the kids and me, we were going into the library for Lego Club. Take care. ❀

  1. Like a dreamy blanket of the lightest cotton wool being pulled gently over the village below to protect it – a wonderful picture. Your poem fits it beautifully – and yes, we should all have the foresight to look up. And down. And round every corner πŸ™‚

    • What a special set of eyes with warm, fuzzy feelings about my little town. Thanks so much, dear. It is wonderful that you used the word, blanket. For Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, I had a photo of a golden sunset with clouds i took. I described it like a blanket of love, sharing equality. ❀
Oh, we need to have eyes in the back of our head, too. πŸ™‚ Tee hee!

    • Simply must send you a big package of hugs, Luanne: Express Mail. ❀ xoxo
I was sentimental, too. I had 3 grandsons so couldnt get teared up. I do wish to say, Skyler thought the clouds looked like a long haired cat or dog, soft and furry, Luanne. Right up your alley. I want to pop over and see your guest cat!

  2. Wow, look at you! I remember when you never had photos with your stories. Now I can look forward to your shared photos just about every day! This cloud photo is quite striking with the muted colors. I like how the images have revealed your poetic talents, too. πŸ™‚ – Mike

    • Thanks to my purse being stolen in the library, while I blogged he took purse, my gift cards, transition lens glasses and a pair of contacts. He got off with a misdemeanor charge!
I got a cell phone with computer and a camera. I blog on my phone now. πŸ™‚ The victim’s statement I wrote never got read in court nor do I know what the library thief looks like. The librarian who viewed the surveillance tape says he still frequents the computer room, Mike. I am not allowed to know what he looks like.
My photos are part of my past 6 months of healing. I don’t research like I used to, nor do I include a lot of personal data or details about dating. I am not sure if I shared all of this with you. I think you and Florence may have been busy packing and moving. I am glad you do like it. πŸ™‚

      • No problem but at first he was going to get 5th degree felon. He faced me on computer, although I did not “see” him. No forgiveness needed. I just felt like you needed to know. . .

    • I will take those great words for those clouds with “back-lighting,” Anneli, and run with them! Hope and encouragement from these means more than I expected! ❀ Thanks so much.

    • This is a special message, Maniparna. Very high praise from a writer who I respect highly. Thank you, dear. I am very glad you enjoyed seeing and listening to the words, too. ❀
