Looking through trellis shadows

More sights to see. . .

on our night hike along

the alley leading to the

church school playground.
Shadows, silhouette of shapes

to surprise and create suspense

as we walk down the alley,

flashlights in our hands.

The snap of a twig

may send us up,

being excited,

yet a bit

    • Thanks so much, Ian. A scene sometimes shouts out, “Catch me if you can!” The grandkids usually want spiders, bugs and shadows to be on my blog. There were quite a few spider’s webs, but they didn’t come out as well as I wanted them to do. Hope you and Ana are having a lovely week. Happy Hump day! ❀

    • Ah, this was quite special of you to notice the use of alliteration, Derrick. I felt the moody part, too. This is right by my apartment building so often we just “pass by it.”
Hope your computer/photograph uploads sort themselves out and stop being such a pain! Have a great rest of the week… πŸ™‚

    • Thank you, George! I have a hectic end of October so I am spicing up the month with sprinkling in Fall and Halloween elements. Hope your week slides into the weekend smoothly. πŸ™‚

    • I have to admit, I “lucked out,” Dan. The effect looked good through our eyes but several photos had hazy look, even a ghostly ray in one of them! Thanks for liking my corny sound effect, too. πŸ™‚

    • If my having texture in my photos makes them unique from others, even occasionally, this is a lovely comment! Thanks, Luanne. πŸ™‚

I felt a slight sense of foreboding in this alley. Since the end of October means cataract surgery and trip after a couple days up to my Mom’s, I decided to sprinkle in elements of the season and Halloween. πŸ™‚

    • I enjoyed your enthusiasm, Pauline. The description sounds so “you!”
Including “midnight rambles,” “torch light” and “spooky creatures” were all perfect words to give me smiles. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚
