With Daddy helping make sure

he doesn’t stab himself

with a “big boy” knife,

Hendrix looks up at

his sweet Mommy.

Up next, Hendrix

performs some

ball levitating acts!

    • Aww,this was Hendrix’s Mommy’s cell phone picture, Derrick. My DIL, Trista, sent all kinds of Halloween and harvest shots while I was up at my Mom’s. This was so nice of her, since Mom enjoyed seeing them, and I didn’t feel “left out.”

      • Oh, Robin – brag away! There is something about young faces that is captivating; innocence, curiosity and often a bit of cheek too! I loved this one.

    • Annika, I love all of those sweet descriptions! The first one with “twinkle in his eye” now this one, I am able to respond to, includes innocence, captivating, curiosity and he does have “cheek” or (our word) “spunk!” Thank you for giving me smiles and Hendrix such nice characteristics. xo

    • Marissa, doesn’t it seem like time just accelerates every year like we were at the top of a roller coaster hill just yesterday. I am about twenty years ahead of you on the speeding hill! πŸ˜‰

    • Now, it’s the challenge to get my Mom up. She covered her head this morning, Marissa, saying I don’t want to get up! Made it here in evening and we stayed up too late chatting. . .
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! (Any satanic turkey rituals going on today. . . Ha ha πŸ˜‰ )

    • Pauline, thank you ever so much! I knew you would remember how he seemed while young.
I bemoan regularly how time just seems to have set quite a fast pace, as if we reached a high point in our lives and now, it rolls forward quickly, pickibg up speed!
Thank you for liking Trista’s photo. She is a dear DIL who likes to share with me, the children and events I may miss. I was up at my Mom’s when this set was being taken. Mom enjoyed it ever so much.
Lastly, my son and his wife will head up on Thursday, while I work all day tomorrow, then with my car packed, I head to Cleveland, too. My oldest daughter and her two boys along with my youngest daughter will go in Thanksgiving day.
Mom will have 2 of 3 children, my total of 3 children plus seven grandies all together with brother (artist) Randy helping cook!
Have a wonderful week and weekend, Pauline. xo

    • Thank you so much for sharing this post with my grandson on it. He is quite an amiable and loving child which helps since this bustling combination family my son and DIL brought together needs a little peaceful good luck charm such as he is! πŸ˜‰

  1. It’s great to see how quickly Hendrix is growing. It is clear he is no longer a baby. If it weren’t for little children, we would never realize how fast time passes. – Mike

    • This is a good point, Mike. We don’t age “nearly as fast” as they do! πŸ˜‰
He is very “savvy” thanks to his older siblings. He would motion you to follow him to the pumpkin to peek inside. He loves adult-sized silverware, tools and cell phones. He nearly twice a week pushes the picture of me to call and chatter. I have also seen him pushes the picture of his Dad while he is at work!
Hope you have a special Thanksgiving! hugs to you and Florence xo
