    • No shopping for most of our family also, Dan!
My DIL did go on Saturday, which allowed her little kids and my son to go see, “Moana.” It has an authentic Pacific Island young woman as the animated character and she sings beautifully. Dwayne Johnson plays the male leading animated figure, “Maui.” The water is a lovely and realistic! πŸ™‚

    • It has been awhile and hope I was correct in spelling your name on your blog. I was so happy for your moving to a bigger place to live and hope, most of all, you have happiness and your two sons living nearby. πŸ™‚ Thank you for kind visit and wishes! ❀

    • I had a really nice weekend. Thank you, Deborah. πŸ™‚ I thought I would have time to visit plus respond to comments. . . not very realistic! Ha ha!
I had a lot of fun hanging with my Mom, grown kids and their children. She enjoyed seeing her little dogs. She has had Nikki since 2002 and her mixed dachshund and beagle since 2012. The “pup” was too wild to stay at her senior living apt but Nikki was with Mom until 2 years ago. Mom fell on slippery wet grass while walking her, so my brother brings her to visit the dogs at his house. It had been awhile, so she sat holding them both on her lap. Nikki, as you may note, is getting old, she’s going blind and has trouble getting around. The grandies ran by, would say or show something or sit by Mom, off and on, during the whole weekend. She really was in her element!

      • I feel so blessed that you feel comfortable enough with me to say whatever your heart is feeling. Babble, vent, chat, mumble I’m here! πŸ™‚

Honestly, I’m so thankful you didn’t cuss me out! Seriously you have no idea how many times while walking in the city minding my own business I’ve been cussed out, and called every vile name a woman can be called by crazy people.

I swear I have a sign on me somewhere that says, ” Vent, cuss me out, call me every vile name in the book. It’s okay I won’t bite or punch your lights out.”
Good friends have seen it. It’s scary and bizarre! I’ll take babbling and chatting any day! πŸ™‚ Hugs!

  1. Thank you for the swirling clouds. I close my eyes/ears to the blast of Black Friday commercials. Here, it’s gray and drizzly, but that’s beautiful its own seasonal way. Happy Thanksgiving weekend. xo

    • Pamela, I think the gloomy weather kept us all inside spending time together with our families. It was a blessing that my three grown children came up as well as bringing their children so my Mom had fun and was entertained by their presence.
I am glad you stayed inside and also was happy to share the shifting clouds of a few days before Thanksgiving with you! ❀

  2. The gardener and I went to pick up a cat tree advertised for a good price as a Black Friday sale. So much for always saying I don’t do Black Friday shopping. It turns out we didn’t like the tree and bought a different one. But there was NO Black Friday crowd at all–and the street traffic was light.

    • Is a cat tree a living form of tree, Luanne? I haven’t heard of a cat tree, unless it is a carpet covered “tree” where cats like to climb on. I will check back to read about this!
You gave us a “life lesson” about Black Friday! Sometimes, if you go out there may not be any crowds. So cool to know this! Thank you. xoxo

    • It was such a wondrous, shifting cloud formation, Diana! I think a time sequence or filmography of this swirling sky would be relaxing and interesting to watch. πŸ™‚
So glad you liked the simple but sincere wish or message, too.

    • Oh, wow! Thank you, dear Penney! I will come and see your re-blog of my post. I don’t often do this, but I really got sidetracked and didn’t check back nor comment on this post. You picked up “my slack!” πŸ™‚

  3. Hi!
I know Sue Vincent! You liked a comment I made on Melinda (PurpleSlob’s) blog. I am Janice of Janice’s Jewel. Thanks for liking my comment.
I like the shape of your poem. It reminds me of a cyclone!
