    • Oh, yes! While the grandies are thrilled I am less and less enjoying the colder temps! I don’t mind moderate temps and the snow sprinkling lightly down. . . It was a winter wonderland on way home from work today. πŸ™‚

    • Pauline, this is such a lovely comment! I use my cellphone, ever since that summer my purse was stolen. I dont go to the library computer room but this helps me to come up with interesting, but shorter posts! My youngest daughter who majored in both communications and marketing told me that those over 1000 word essays needed to Go! Ha ha! πŸ™‚

    • Not being a meteorologist, I agree that weather must impact the skies. The shifting temperatures and warm and cold fronts meeting create such intriguing skies in fog and mist. I bet you could explain why this season has such beautiful colors!

      • I think it is the Christmas magic that makes the skies so pretty…And I don’t just say that because I lack a scientific explanation. At my last job, leaving the office in December, the sky was always such a pretty color.

    • It was just rising as I enter work at 6:30 on M-R and on Fridays an awful 5:30! Laughing a little because I complain but my inner clock wakes me up even on weekends this early, Annika. I like the idea of the “horizon looking alight.” πŸ™‚

    • Thanks, Maniparna! I was in the break room and saw your post about online shopping and seasonal shopping and a friend sat down and was teary eyed. I closed it up and listened. I will get back to reading hoping tomorrow. Hugs xo

    • Thanks for making me feel successful, Sarah. πŸ™‚ I whittled my cards list down to one box this year and this realky helped me to get the job done. I am older and don’t need so many cards! Used to send one hundred in my twenties!
I have been trying to buy gifts as I see them year-round to save and spread the money spending a little bit more over time. Hmmm! It is actually fun to open this box under my coats, to discover I have only three more toys to buy. Still need to stop at the bank and get some twenty dollar bills to enclose in gift envelopes. I remember my Mom doing this and my being so excited to get cash! Not a really cozy or warm thing to do, I suppose. πŸ™‚

      • I think a lot of people could really use the cash more than anything – you never know when something like that makes a huge difference for a person!

I am really cutting it close on the cards here – and we are supposed to go out to the movies tonight, so unless I can address them while there, it looks like tomorrow night is going to be a card-addressing evening!

  1. Lovely winter sky. Nice to think the days will start getting longer in another week or so! I am about as ready as I can get for the holidays. Merry Christmas, Robin!! – Mike

    • Thank you! So glad you liked this one! I have plans soon but will check your post out! Did you see Blake Shelton win the People’s Choice Award for Best Music? They said it was the first time country won overall best music award at that awards ceremony. πŸ™‚ Yay!!
