For my friends who like to see

cozy homes and cottages,

I hope this one is appealing!

This is the close up view

of a white house with

lavender shutters.

Please check out the variety

of other Thursday doors found

on Norm Frampton’s blog!

    • … and visit, I could bring maybe some iced cream or cupcakes. We could sip iced tea in the summer and hot cocoa with marshmallows in the winter. 🏑
I walk past this only a block from my sister-in-law and brother’s house. πŸ™‚

  1. Ahh…Robin, this is so dream-like, the cosiest of cosy houses, the lavender shutters a lovely contrast to the cream and then there’s always something special and welcoming about a white picket fence. I think there’s going to a fight over this one! πŸ˜€πŸ˜€ The photo is particularly atmospheric and harmonious, dappled sunlight through the trees! Again, ahhh…❀️

    • Ahhh, Annika. I felt some of these same warm feelings when I saw this pretty home. It certainly would be delightful to visit or possibly be a home away from home, a “time share” bed and breakfast πŸ’ for two or small family. . . This would solve the fighting over this! πŸ˜‰
Your lovely description of the sunlight was so poetic and picturesque. Thank you! πŸ’– From now on,we will post pictures of houses with doors with your sincere and sweet words.

    • I couldn’t resist it’s charms, Diana. 🌸 I agree about smaller homes and less to clean. If I were to live in a home, this would be the kind I think that fits “me!” xo

    • This cottage may be one you could enjoy but your place is exactly how you like it, Pauline! πŸ™‚ I’m glad you enjoyed this home and could imagine living there. I liked it a lot! πŸ’œ

    • Sarah, thanks very much! I really didn’t expect such a wonderful turnout in the comments. It was quite a busy week at work, then fun but hectic weekend. Visiting to catch a few then will need a free pass back again tomorrow. . .
