https://danicapiche.files.wordpress.com/2017/05/liebster-award.jpg?w=584

Thank you, merci beaucoup!

Muchas gracias and more.

My friend, Danica Piche

has nominated me for

the Liebster Award.

It has been ages

and moons ago,

when I last

received a

Nomination.

There are supposed to be

rules and form to my acceptance.

I am supposed to ask 11 questions

for the nominees to answer

and I may use them to

answer myself. ๐Ÿฆ

~ Tell us your name and where you

live please!

๐Ÿฆ Robin E. O. Cochran

Delaware, Ohio

~ Where do you like to write?

๐Ÿฆ On a sofa or bed lounging.

~ How do you start a blog post?

๐Ÿฆ Honestly, I used to write about

news, music, subjects while now

I see things which I like and

use their image to inspire me.

~ What’s your favorite book or

author of books?

๐Ÿฆ My favorite books are about

Thomas Paine: “To Spit Against

the Wind” and King Arthur:

“The Once and Future King.”

~ Is there a special treat or goal

which motivates you to write?

๐Ÿฆ I usually drink coffee and

nibble or spoon a food item,

donut, cookie, ice cream. . .

~ Is it quiet or music or no specific

noise preferred?

๐Ÿฆ If it is a natural photograph,

then I like music but if it is

Thursday’s Doors or needs

research to complete it;

Silence is golden!

~ Do you like a certain genre or

style of writing (or free form)?

I am used to writing essays

but enjoy freeform best

(ramblings, musings).

~ When did you feel you became

a writer?

๐Ÿฆ I used to take a journal for two

weeks of Girl Scout camping. I

would doodle, try to sketch

and write thoughts down.

I shared this with my Dad

when I got back home.

~ Are you more of an artist, crafter,

photographer, cook or ?

๐Ÿฆ Art and photography are my

favorite forms of creativity.

~ Where was your favorite place

to be in your life?

๐Ÿฆ I think beaches, grew up on

Lake Erie, visited my grandparents

in Clearwater, Florida.

~ Who is/was your hero or heroine?

๐Ÿฆ John Glenn and Eleanor Roosevelt.

Nominate 11 willing participants,

who will answer those questions.

Along with my sharing 11

unknown facts you may

never have heard

about me.

I combined

this component

into my new questions

and used ๐Ÿฆ denoting my

answers to best of my ability.
Here is ๐Ÿต Danica’s blog ๐Ÿ’ฎ:

deal, a smorgasbord choice.

Danica explains the word,

“Liebster” on her blog!

It is fascinating information.

Please stop by any or all of

new fellow members of my

~~~~~~~~~~
This amazing and kind friend of mine
I know, has hosted annual blog
awards at least since 2013.
Last year, I was nominated
but didn’t feel comfortable
promoting myself.  Now, I
realize not doing this also
prevents you from voting
for others. There are
possible unfamiliar
blogs for you to
freely explore.
Please check
this link.
No pressure to vote!
Micah and the sunflower field
Image
Micah is in second grade and likes
to try and read as much as possible.
The hundreds of tags with wishes
and hopes expressed towards
loved ones who had passed
away due to cancer
were like a “mission,”
he wanted to read
as many as we
would allow.
“This is for
a child.”
“Oh look, this is
for a special teacher!”
He pointed
out messages for
parents and found some
for grandparents. The ones
who had names the same as his
classmates, touched him the most:
“I know a Christopher and
an Eli, a Sarah and
a Hailey.”
Emergency squad on “stand by” at Demolition derby
Image
We ran into Geddy,
(Co-worker with 4 year old
daughter Riley).
Then greeted my coworker,
Jordanna with her
four kids around fair rides.
After that, we picked up food
from favorite concession stands.
We found a nice family to share
space and meal on picnic table
with Hayden, his brothers
and parents. The father was
Skyler’s Boy Scout leader.
They were heading over to the
Demolition derby. Foolishly,
we shouted out as we finished
our Greek gyros and Lake Erie
Walleye fish sandwich:
“We’ll see you there!”
Riding a tractor-pulled wagon,
we met one of Sky’s classmates,
Logan and his grandfather.
We managed to push thru
crowds to grab five seats
together and were excited
to see all kinds of
Emergency Medical Technicians,
the Delaware County squad team.
!!!!!!!!
The boys were craning their
necks, “Hi-fiving” and very
exuberant in their arrival
and we stayed watching
three derbies to see
a fire, smoking cars,
pile up with wrecking
crew tow trucks and tow carts.
Photo by post author and
attempt to explain and
describe Demolition
derby written by
same person.
If you were here,
You could see plenty of photographs!
